You may have metthem via social media and may have judged them based onouter appearances; either you felt you were too cool forthem or that they were too cool for you. If this is romantic, you may have seen them as out of yourleague or vice versa. There may also be a difference insocial status that may have hindered the connection orone of you saw it as a barrier in the connection. One of youmay be shallow or you’ve become shallow over time. Youmay have confided in them over the duration of yourrelationship, and they know your traumas, secrets, andother personal struggles.ACT I: THE LOVERSYou may feel outcasted by this person now or there’san actual barrier that keeps you from actually seeingthem or speaking to them. They mayhave found out that you were stealing from them or trying to manipulate them into a contractthat was financially advantageous for you or as a means to bind them legally to you.At some point, you saw them as a muse, or that youcould at least use them and their gifts and talents foryour own advancement. You may have wished to usethis contract to control any new and incomingfriendships, business relationships and otherinteractions out of fear and they turned down thecontract or called you out for stealing or trying to playthem.ACT II: THE MAGICIAN & THE THIEF
The Juice NewsF I N A L A C Tfeel rejected but simultaneously being codependent on their work, ideas and energy at the same time. Youmay have wanted them to beg you for some sort of group acceptance where people have to abide by rulesand bylaws that forces them to reject themselves and live inauthentic to who they truly are just o fit in orappeal to the masses, for admiration and acceptance. There’s a Virgo woman specifically who was taking notes ofwhat someone as either saying or doing and trying to offer itas their own work or some original thought or creative ideafor financial gain and recognition. They’ve carried on lyingabout where they got the ideas from and who inspired them, but they’ve done this several times to other artists, akleptomaniac at this point They may watch “the source” ororiginator to see if they’re going to say anything about themstealing and copying them as far as calling them out about itangrily or taking legal action against them. This person gageswhat other people are getting praise and recognition for, then steal it and try to present it as if it was their own.ACT IV: THE COPYCATYou may be upset, (or they are upset) and feel embarrassedfrom people knowing what you did or tried to do to them. Youmay be telling people not to work with them now in order tocover up any false promises you made to others on theirbehalf. In addition, you’re lying and saying they wereoverwhelmed with the work or were intimidated by othercompetitors when that’s not true. There’s something aboutthis environment where people like you and others, that weremerely taking or stealing someone’s creative work(s), ideas orprojects and passing them off as your own. You were actuallyworking against this person and not towards a common goal, and there was no commodore at all in this environment.People may have tried to intentionally outcast or make this ACT III: Someone may be stuck having to follow somescript or recite some script, it could be them havingto keep up with their lies or telling a lie to cover upthe last lie that they told and it’s getting harder. They may see you as free to do as you please whilethey remain stuck, possibly in their comfort zone orthey’re confined to a role by way of contract or debtand conveniently placed center stage where they’reforced to act out all of their lies! A sing off? That’s a joke, right? sing offFur Elise, the enchanting melody that tickles theivories, is a gem whipped up by none other thanBeethoven himself! But here’s the twist: it didn’tmake its grand entrance until a whopping 40years after he took his final bow! Hose song is it anyway?AWRumor has it that Fur Elise was not a song for “Elise” at all and that it was one big misreaddue to Beethoven’s ineligible handwriting. It’s become quite the mystery of who this mysterywoman is and what her relationship was with Beethoven that he would compose a musicalbagatelle in her honor. I’m sure you’ve heard Fur Elise at one point in time and to me itsounds like a man who is experiencing all of the emotions for a woman who he is madly inlove with, happiness, peace, jealousy, concern, anger, insecurity, reassurance, joy, excitement, sorrow, yearning, loneliness, pity, melancholy, aggravation, irritation, self-consciousness,sadness, unloved, pain, fear, obsession, rejection, resentment, contentment, confusion, delusion, disgust, mistrust, anxious....(nothing rhymes with anxious)...free, fearless, confident, sexy, beautiful and bold.Oh love, it brings out the madness in all of us... In fact, Ludwig Nohl stumbled upon it and revealed that it was either a delightful Bagatelle or acharming Albumblatt. Nohl even claimed that the original manuscript—which has since been lost—had the sweet title: "Für Elise am 27 April [1810] zur Erinnerung von L. v. Bthvn", whichtranslates to "For Elise on April 27 in memory by L. v. Bthvn". The music made its debut in Nohl's, Neue Briefe Beethovens, gracing pages 28 to 33, courtesy ofJohann Friedrich Cotta in Stuttgart. What a melodious saga!but wait there’s more...
In 2014, Canadian musicologist Rita Steblin proposed that EliseBarensfeld could be the dedicatee in which this song was composed infavor to. Born in Regensburg, Barensfeld was regarded as a childprodigy. She initially embarked on concert tours with Beethoven'sfriend, Johann Nepomuk Mälzel, also from Regensburg, beforeresiding with him for a period in Vienna, where she studied singingunder Antonio Salieri. Steblin suggests that Beethoven dedicated thiswork to the 13-year-old Elise Barensfeld as a favor to Therese Malfatti(above), who lived across from Mälzel and Barensfeld's home andmay have provided her with piano lessons; however, this remainsspeculative. In 2010 Klaus Martin Kopitz proclaimed that this charming piecewas penned for the 17-year-old soprano sensation, ElisabethRöckel! She was the younger sister of Joseph August Röckel, whorocked the role of Florestan in Beethoven's 1806 revival ofFidelio. Known affectionately as "Elise" (and later dubbingherself "Betty"), she and Beethoven were well-knownacquaintances since 1808—rumor has it, he might've even had acrush on her! Fast forward to April 1810, when Elisabeth madeher stage debut as Donna Anna in Mozart's Don Giovanni. Afterreturning to Vienna in 1811, she tied the knot with Beethoven'sbuddy, Johann Nepomuk Hummel in 1813. Look’s like Beethovenis 0-2 with the ladies.Therese Malfatti von Rohrenbach zu Dezza, was notonly a friend and pupil of Beethoven but also therecipient of a romantic proposal in 1810—though she declined to tie the knot with the dashing musician andinstead married Austrian nobleman Wilhelm vonDroßdik in 1816. It is said that "Für Elise" is actually "FürTherese". The question is did he compose it before orafter she shattered his heart into a million notes. Who’s that girl?Well, we can’t harp over this all day, so we will have to take it for what it is; a wise man once said “alotta girls be thinking my songs are about them”, so if you have to guess or ask, then you should assumethat it clearly was not about you; not a musical mystery at all! Cheerio, I have my own correspondence toattend to and a show to prepare for!therese malfatti von rohrenbach zu dezzaElisabeth Rockelelisabet barensfield
